An alterhuman is someone or something who's identity exceeds boundaries that are considered "human"
this includes identities such as therian, otherkin, otherhearted, even sometimes including plurality, and a WHOOOLEEEE lot more identities. Alterhumanity is an incredibly broad and inclusive community with maybe hundreds of identities and individual labels. As an alterhuman myself, I find the topic incredibly important to who I am as a person and spreading awareness in a more positive light will hopefully bring more people to discover that they are not alone.
